The Sabian 20" Artisan Crash is almost hard to play; after all, this is a culmination of centuries of cymbal smithing and a work of art in itself. Warm, atmospheric, and immensely musical, the Artisan series employs the company's legendary B20 alloy hand-hammered into a traditionally-lathed bow and larger, raw bell for an immediate response even at the slightest stroke. Reminiscent in tone of cymbals from decades ago in a contemporary package, this should be a consideration for those after throwback tone and modern reliability.
