For your consideration is this rare, David Russell Young "Phoenix" dreadnought. This iconic ,one of a kind  guitar has so many awesome features. David Russell Young made many fine guitars in California in  the 1970s. He was a very sought after guitar maker and many celebrities purchased his guitars including Carly Simon, Merle Haggard, Keith Richard, Eric Clapton and most notably Gram Parsons who's David Russell Young guitar sold recently at auction for $125,000,00 ...         

He made his guitars with the finest materials. He also wrote the book.... "The Steel String Guitar , Construction And Repair"  This one was made in 1978 .The top is made from beautiful cedar.  It's 3 piece back & sides are Brazilian rosewood. The neck is also made from solid Brazilian rosewood, which is very rare. Bone  nut and saddle. It's fingerboard & bridge are ebony and it has gorgeous abalone & mother of pearl inlayed throughout the headstock & rosette More photos are available upon request. We feel this guitar is priceless but are now entertaining offers.   Please feel free to ask questions. Check out this video of Merle Haggard playing his David Russell Young guitar on "The Waltons" tv show. This guitar currently resides on the east coast, viewing may be arranged by appointment only.  Because of the materials used in the making of this guitar, it can not be shipped outside of the USA. A hard shell case will also be included.
