Mavourneen Solidbody Strings "Bairdy" model 5-string bass.
This light weight custom built instrument features a chambered mahogany body with a walnut-on-maple top, three piece maple neck with rosewood fingergoard, and Seymour Duncan pickups and two-band EQ/preamp.
The Bairdy is a 34" scale instrument with a deep set 6-bolt neck joint and satin hand rubbed gunstock oil finish.
It plays well with a rich, articulate tone -- clean in the low end and still warm in the high end.
