Ok so the video here is of this actual guitar, shot right here in my home studio. I think this was made by Crucianelli and I'm not sure where the Lux name originated from. It almost looks like that there might have been another part to the name but who knows.
ok so wow, I don't even know what to say about this one. The pickups are incredibly powerful and bright, as are most of the old Italian pickups. The body has that wood-grained pearloid-ish covering and gold binding around the body! This is the kind of guitar that I just LOVE! 1960s baby!
When I got this I really thought it was a goner because the neck was so bowed. So off it went to my good buddy Scott Frielich, and he fixed that issue rather well! Then the guitar went off to my other buddy Dave D'Amelio who sorted out all the electronics and did a final set-up. This went from an unplayable instrument to a fine playing and sounding guitar! It does show plenty of wear all over but it does present well and there's nothing too bad. There is binding missing on the lower side of the neck but it's so thin I didn't even notice it until I took the photos! Also it's missing one tuner cover, and the pick guard has a slight crack near the neck but it's holding strong.
As with any vintage guitar you'll probably need to set this up to your tastes but as it sits it plays really well!
