












For sale is a 1960s-era Unbranded Made in Japan Hollowbody Electric guitar in a sunburst finish. Possibly a copy of a Goya guitar? Overall craftsmanship and playability is better than most MIJ factory guitars like this. Very cool player with a fascinating set of pickups! One side corresponds to the E-A-D bass strings, the other to the G-B-E treble side; there is a channel switch for each and a blend switch. The tone is very airy and woody, great for any rhythm or jazz-type tones. Solid bridge with individual saddles and thumbwheels. Solid Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece with nice action. The neck has a fairly slim profile with a 1-9/16" nut width and upgraded bone nut. A balanced feel overall with a sweet and forward tone when played acoustically. In good condition cosmetically with only minor marks on the body neck finish. The frets are fairly flat, but playable, a few buzzy artifacts as you move up the neck.
