Ibanez SC500N 1998 Solidbody Nylon

Very hard to find Ibanez SC500N classical.electric nylon string guitar, made in Japan, 1998. Specs are as follows:
Body: Mahogany
Top Wood: Spruce with binding
Neck Wood: Mahogany, 1 Piece
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Neck scale: 25.1
Frets: 22
Fret markers: Abalone
Pickup: Piezo

Rare model only built between 1997-1999. Hybrid between an electric and nylon string guitar. Solidbody so no feedback common with acoustics to be concerned about  with this one. Black rubber knobs upgraded to gold dome knobs.

Guitar is in excellent condition. I would list it as mint except for one small spot where the clear coat is checking a little bit. I try to honestly describe any issues so photo is included. Guitar has never been gigged just played at home. I am the original owner. Comes with original hard shell case.

You are not likely to find another one in this condition. Straight neck,  low action, easy access to upper register notes. Awesome tone that can be adjusted with 2 tone knobs.

I have owned this instrument for 21 years. I bought it new at Scott Tennyson's music store in Tallahassee in 1998 right off the shelf, brand new. Tennyson's closed a few years ago.

I have some unexpected car repairs so that is why it is for sale.

Excellent instrument with no issues. Someone is going to get a unique instrument that has become a collectors item. Priced below asking prices of others which I have seen ranging from $2400-$4000.
