1960s Kawai Teardrop Bass Guitar Rare Japan Teisco

Rare 1960s Kawai Teardrop Bass Guitar - Made in Japan, possibly at the Teisco factory. ( it has similar specs to other Teisco made guitars of the era such as the string guide, multi laminate neck etc.)
Its in used condition wih signs of age. The things of most note are -

• Two small holes on the headstock (one on the back and one on the side) - I'm unsure why they are there.
• Lacquer cracks to the body in places and other general marks, small indents, scuffs and signs of use.
• Chrome plate (non original) around the jack input.
• Missing G string tuner ferrule ( I am trying to source one so I will update the listing should I get hold of one).
• Loss to the chrome on the pickups.
• Electrics working but slight crackle to the volume control.
• A used bass with signs of age.

It plays pretty well and the strings are new. You can't compare these to a modern P Bass for example but they have their unique qualities. The action is decent and its a playable bass.
No case but will be well packaged and boxed for shipping.
