The Artist Award features solid Maple back and sides and a solid Spruce top with a Venetian cutaway. The five-piece Maple neck is topped by an Ebony fretboard decorated with 14 frets and block inlays.
In the electronics department, the Artist Award boasts a single Guild floating humbucker, controllable using the master volume and master tone pots.
The Guild Artist Award has a tortoise shell pick guard and gold hardware, including Grover Imperial tuners.
