Hello there,

What we have here is a 2012 Carvin DC700 7 String guitar in Radiation Green metallic color. The guitar is in excellent overall condition as you can see from the pictures. I am only selling this guitar just because I don't care for fixed bridges anymore. This guitar is very well built with only a few flaws that I tried to picture. One tiny scratch in between the neck and bridge pickups. I looks like the edge of the fretboard has some finish issue as you can see in the photo. Also, due to the metallic paint, it looks like there are a few uneven specks of paint here or there but that is just me nitpicking and trying to be as transparent as possible. No dings, gouges, cracks, deep scratches or anything of the sort here!

It is extremely resonant, has a straight, stable neck with no dead spots. The ebony board is beautiful and dark. The frets and fret job are fantastic and frets are still like new being stainless steel. The electronics are fine with no cutting out, popping, static, excessive feedback, or volume drops. The 3 way pickup selector switch feels a little less resistant and smoother than it was but it still holds whatever position you are in just fine.

This guitar, like all of my guitars, has been babied ever since I've had it. I always clean the fretboard and body after every time I play and keep the guitar in its case at all times when not played. You will not find a used one in better shape!

The hardshell case has some light wear (but that's what cases are for!) and somewhat odd feeling left lock but it still locks just fine and Carvin said this was normal from day one with their cases. It comes with all case candy and accessories that it originally came with.

Since Carvin/Kiesel is a semi custom shop, here are the full specs of the guitar.

5 piece Mahogany neck with 2 maple stripes.
Mahogany body wings
Hipshot fixed bridge
Ebony fretboard
Stainless steel jumbo frets
20" neck radius
Dot inlays
Radiation Green Metallic color (covering the entire body and neck)
Full gloss neck and body
Sperzel locking tuners (before they switched over to their own Kiesel Tuners)
Carvin active A70 humbucking pickups (I don't think these are an option anymore)
Black hardware
Official Hardshell case

So as you can see, If you want to build a new similar guitar to this one at Kiesel right now it would cost you $1400.00. (Note: This is not the official build list, just a similar mock up I just made!) You can see the savings buying mine instead before your eyes. You can't even get the A70 Pickups anymore or Sperzel locking tuners!

Please ask if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
