3 way bass reflex - 12" Woofer, 4" Mid and 1" Tweeter

Mint condition Cerwin Vega RE-30 Floor speaker.  They measure approximately 32" tall x 16.5" wide x 14.75" deep and weighs approximately 56 lbs each. 

It's a 3-way speaker system with 12" woofers. Absolutely amazing sound production. The speakers woofers were recently professionally refoamed - no distortion or vibration. The veneer was cleaned and polished however there are some nicks/ Chip /blemishes from age. Cerwin-Vega VS series are considered as one of the best vintage speakers in the market today. Very solid and highly collectible.

STRENGTH:
These speakers are very loud but sound amazing! I would recommend these if you don't want any separate subs or tweeters in a home theater or just for listening to music! These speakers should be valued at a thousand brand new at least! These put beats to shame and even bose cant beat these things!

WEAKNESS:
Weight is the only defect on these, a small price to pay for such a good outcome.

I'm finally able to return to the sounds I dreamed of as a youth.

I heard CV made the 'sensurround' setups in the theaters, (which I heard for myself in 74). I have no doubt this is part of their pedigree. I like them for more than just room shaking, (which they *will* do), but I'm an old jazz rocker. Donald Fagen Nightfly sounds great, Grover Washington Inner City Blues was really dynamic if not startling. Phil Keaggy - (the song within) lots of acoustic guitar - really shined. (shone?) Dream Theater--rocks, and these are built for just that but I think the CVRE30s actually benefit from cleaner source material. It's a soul upgrade for me for sure.
