Vintage sunburst finish, nitrocellulose lacquer type.
Materials:
Solid bookmatched handcarved fine grain quartersawn spruce top;
solid handcarved bookmatched tiger-flame maple back and sides; tiger flame maple neck with walnut centerstripes;
solid ebony fingerboard with pearl inlays; abalone headstock logo; 7-ply body binding; 5-ply neck binding; bound f-holes; solid bone nut.
Cosmetically, there is a hairline crack on bottom side between tailpiece and jack that has been professionally repaired and touched up screw holes when Bigsby tailpiece was replaced with new tailpiece and D'Addario Planet Waves Elliptical strap buttons.
The binding shows a small discoloration on left side edge about 4" on back bottom piece and 1/32" separation about 1" long on bottom edge of back. The back shows some slight wear and or streaking in small area of center back. See pix.
