The LPD Eighty 7 Preamp is a faithful reproduction of the 80's Randall RG100ES amplifier. Operating at 24 volts from a 9 volt supply, for high headroom and dynamic response, this pedal can go from edge of break-up tones to over the top high gain distortion. There are two switchable modes. Red and Green. The Green mode is the standard RG100ES high gain channel. The Red mode is the RG100ES high gain channel with the Treble pot pulled for added gain and compression. In the stock amp there is an extreme volume drop when this mode is entered. I have correted this flaw in the LPD Eighty 7 Preamp and there are no level differences between the Red and Green modes.
