Notice the
underside of the plate has a perfect bevel with offset countersinks for
the screw pivot - allowing the bridge to float just right and come back
to zero point while sliding along a single axis. If you look at a OEM
Fender plate, the holes underneath are centered, making for an easy way
for the plate to get hung up and increasing the likelihood of tuning
issues. No worry about that with the KGC plate!
