These machine heads combine the following features to provide the ultimate style and efficiency in a set of machine heads:
Height Adjustable Posts (HAP)
Creating the perfect downward pressure over a guitar's nut is a complex balance between headstock headstock angle and the height of the machine head string posts.
Height adjustable posts allow you to determine the optimum angle for friction, string pressure, tension and open string sound and sustain. Ideal for flat (Fender style) headstocks, height adjustable posts eliminate the need for string trees.
Magnum Locking
Gotoh Magnum Lock is a self locking system and is a great asset when keeping vibrato-equipped guitars in tune without any string breakage and slippage. The latest improvement to this feature is smaller holes in the 1st. 2nd. and 3rd. string posts.
