This release is inspired by the tremolo equipped Manson guitar Matthew Bellamy started using live in 2007. The guitar was quickly labelled by Manson Guitars as the ‘Son Of DeLorean’ - a variation of the original DeLorean guitar model - and is our second celebration together with the 2016 DL-1 guitar of the very first Manson/Bellamy creation built in 2001.

The 2016 SDL-1 includes many features of that original guitar. It sports a solid, raw finish aluminium top over a mahogany 2-piece body, solid aluminium backplates, twin humbucker size routs Manson/Bare Knuckle MBK pickups.  In keeping with the policy of making every Manson/Bellamy Signature something very rare and very special, the 2016 SDL-1/DL-1 run was once again limited to just 25 pieces, crafted in the UK using the finest materials and components and come with a unique, original, hand-signed (not printed) certificate by both the artist and luthier that have made this guitar possible.
