About This Listing

Jerry O’Hagan was a well-known jazz clarinetist in the Minneapolis area who built one of the very first “boutique” guitar lines in the US in the 1970’s. O’Hagan Guitars became famous for the “Shark” model, a unique design that caught on. The company only lasted for a few years and has become sort of a cult collectors dream… I have plenty more detailed history on the O’Hagan company that I would be happy to share with any interested buyer.

This is a 1984 Nightwatch model in excellent condition. It is a top notch sample from near the end of the O'Hagan era - this is when they were using all the stock...  this one has Mighty Mite pickups (very rare to find on any but the earliest models, very hot...), and Schaller bridge and tuners. There are only a few small swirl marks in the finish - this has been hardly played! You don't see many old O'Hagan's in this condition! Includes OHSC.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries.
