This superb all solid wood Lakewood acoustic guitar is the D14, in mint condition. Luthier handcrafted in Germany to extremely high standards of craftsmanship.  These are extremely rare to find here in America!

Purchased brand new on Oct 29, 2018 and covered by a 10-year tranferable warranty (see pic for details).  Original receipt included.

This version has a 44mm (1.75 inch) nut width with Ebony freatboard and this great instrument comes with a superb original Hiscox hardshell case, considered the best cases around.

It features a high spec European AAA spruce top and all solid mahogany back and sides. These guitars sound superb and have a natural character to them that has so much appeal, it is no wonder they are highly sought after instruments. The D14 performs to the highest just being played acoustically. They look and sound great and cannot find anything not to like about them.

This guitar is pure class and will grow and mature over time getting better and better with every chord played on it. Particularly impressed with the balance this dreadnought can produce, so many other instruments with this body size can have an over bearing bottom end response that can drown everything else out, but this Lakewood D-14 get it just right. A clear precise tone that is powerful, perfectly balanced and edged in quality.

Lakewood Natural Series is all about natural beauty! Wood and form speak for themselves and can be appreciated by touch. Simplicity, utility and highest quality are combined in an unbeatable, conscious understatement. In a D-14 you will have a powerful instrument which, despite its rich basses, is never unbalanced. The European spruce top adds brilliance to its tone.

A sound hole pickup system with a ¼ inch jack was professionally installed from the authorized dealer at the time of purchase, then removed by a luthier.  Leaving a hole at the original strap button place (see pic). This can be easily fixed if you plan to add a p/u system in the future, or the hole can just be filled with a wooden peg or putty material.  Original end-pin is included.

As seen on most high end spruce tops, this example has some "bear claws" (hazelficte) on the top. It is almost always a sign that the spruce is from an old tree with a very dense molecular structure. This translates into stiff tops and a greater velocity to the soundwaves they produce. Many luthiers feel that bear claws are a reliable sign of higher quality tone wood within a given species of spruce.

Some Lakewood guitar artists: Dave Matthews, Tim Sparks, Ritchie Blackmore, Thom Yorke, Matt Anderson, Jade Gallagher, Sungha Jung, etc.

Always been kept in my smoke/pet free controlled studio since I got it. Never been gigged out.
