*It is obviously a right-handed guitar. Reverb keeps listing as a left-handed for some weird reason.
I have a 1986 LP Custom here. You won’t find a 33 year old LP in this nice of condition again... No cracks or repairs.
The neck profile is perfect on this one - right around .830-.950! The frets show no wear. It had a professional refret with 6150 wire (what Gibson currently uses). This guitar is very balanced and resonant - It just feels right. It weighs only 9 lbs 9oz on my trusty postal scale!
*These original Tim Shaw pickups are the best LP pickups I’ve heard - They are clear, but with plenty of low end. They don’t sound muffled like a lot of Customs. They dirty-up nicely as well! The original patent applied for stickers are on the pickups - you rarely see this!
This guitar has been babied! Normal play wear - Light scratches, finish checking all over, faded/tarnished hardware, couple dings, chips, etc. Nobody would ever guess it to be 33 years old!
It comes in a SKB hard shell case. The original black knobs are in the case.
