Calling all Vince Gill fans! This is a Charvel Surfcaster that belonged to Vince Gill and which he played on records in the '90s.
After the 2010 Nashville flood, a number of musicians sold their instruments at a charity auction. Mr. Gill sold this one and I have enjoyed owning it for the past 6 years. Check out the Youtube link to see Vince talk about the guitar.
The guitar survived the flood with some damage. It has scratches and cracks that are visibly noticeable. I tried to capture these marks the best I could in my pictures. The pickup selector switch is a bit "loose" feeling but still works fine. The guitar is fully functional and a joy to play.
I had Mr. Gill sign it with a silver sharpie. You can see us in the picture together. The signature looks great.
A must have for country and surf fans! A must have for surfcaster collectors! I am open to negotiate on prices! Non-original hard shell case included!
