Rare, Limited Edition B.C. Rich JR-V Body Art Collection 6-String Guitar

Limited Edition B.C. Rich V-Shaped Guitar with Upgraded Pickups and Hardshell Case!!

Up for sale is a limited edition and rare 2003 JR-V featuring very cool graphics. This is one is from B.C. Rich’s Body Art series and is called Skull Pile. I recently bought it used to test out whether I could get used to a V-shaped body style. The first thing I discovered was that this is one great guitar for the money. The second thing was that this shape was not for me – alas! That is the reason I’m selling it, albeit rather reluctantly!

A Quick History of the Body Art Collection: This B.C. Rich model is from the B.C. Rich Body Art Collection, which is a limited-edition series of 12 guitars, one for each month of the year plus an additional bonus guitar, a stunning (and somewhat controversial) 25th Anniversary Bich. This electric guitar is the April edition featuring some of the most extreme guitar graphics (Skull Pile) you'll ever find. Other features include the dangerous V body style, Widow headstock, and 2 humbuckers for shredding tone. Like all of the spectacular Body Art Series guitars from BC Rich, this V style Skull Pile features the screaming tone and great playability that made B.C. Rich a legend. 

Features of the guitar being sold: The cool thing about this one is that most JR-V models were sold with B.C. Rich’s own BDSM pickups. However, the person who owned it before me added a Seymour Duncan Dimebag Darrel signature (“Dimebucker”) pickup in the bridge and a Rockfield Fat Ass pickup in the neck position. I didn’t have any experience with either of these pickups, but man are they amazing! The Dimebucker is powerful, high output, and super suited for rock and metal styles. The Fat Ass, as the name suggests, is a great neck pickup that has a fat sound for those warm, melodic solos. Together, these pickups transform this guitar into a very flexible tone machine. Additionally, its string-thru-body style adds great sustain to each note. Overall, this guitar is very easy to play, thanks to its fast neck, and sounds killer with its upgraded pickups. Another bonus – it comes with its original BC Rich hard shell case!! Nowhere will you find this same guitar with the upgraded pickups and hard shell case at this great price. Make it yours today!! 

 Condition:  While there are no dings and dents, please keep in mind that this is a 2003 model and has the expected signs of cosmetic wear due to usage. However, there’s nothing here that can’t be cleaned, polished, or buffed out. I have provided several pictures to show the condition as accurately as possible. Thanks for looking!
