I'm selling two of my three Benchmark MPS-420 4-channel mic pres. This listing is for the silver / grey one. This unit was always carefully racked in a case when I recorded with it. It does have scratches on top from the previous owner. Original external power supply is included. Local pickup in Chicago encouraged. If shipped, it will be double boxed to prevent any carrier handling damage.

These have individual outputs for each channel but also a L/R mix output (excellent for a backup recorder), as well as a built-in high-end headphone amp. Each channel has on tap 70dB of super clean gain with no onboard power supply or extra features that dirty the signal with noise. Just +48v phantom power and a pad.

These sound better than most mic pres out there, including anything in an interface (Presonus, newer Focusrite, Apogee, UA, etc.), and are on the same level as Millennia, Avalon, GML, True, old/good Focusrite, Grace, etc. I personally like them more than Millennia HV-3x.

This comes ready to connect up to your interface or mixer and start recording with fantastic sound quality. Although I hate to see it go, I don't need three of them. Make an offer on both to save $!
