Today, Lawman Guitars Proudly Presents…

A beautiful historic Guitar. This is a 1930's USA Supertone No Logo Archtop Round Hole Guitar with a softshell case …what a cool guitar…Blues Baby!!

No way to tell the manufacturer of this guitar. I am guessing Kay or Regal. The guitar has a 5 stamped in the soundhole like a Kay would have and it has a Regal style Headstock shape. Yet, it also has the Kay Faux Tiger Stripe finish so no way to tell for sure. It has the same Bakelite Pickguard and tailpiece as a Harmony made Supertone we also just listed. Interesting guitar!

The guitar has an arched top and an arched back to it. Round soundhole and the neck attaches at the 14th fret. Great sound from this old timer. I was playing a dropped D fingerstyle blues on it and loved the sound!

Bright brass frets with plenty of play on them but still have plenty of life. The Bakelite original Pickguard is still with this old timer and in great shape. The original bridge is set at an angle to intonate the guitar. It now intonates as well as any of these old guitars can. Love the severe V neck shape. Feels great in the hand. We fixed some cracks and stabilized the braces. Its ladder braced. The guitar has a 25 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 3/4 inches. Finger Pickers will love this one.

The guitar was not playable when we got it. We did a complete neck reset to give it proper low playing easy action. It plays great now and is a an absolute pleasure to strum. The tuners are in great shape and the tuner buttons are not loose at all. They appear to be Bakelite as well as the pickguard.

This historic guitar is ready to play out of the box. New strings and it sounds great. It would look great on anyones wall or in your Vintage Guitar collection, but I really hope someone gets it to play. Its a great guitar!

The Soft Shell Case is as well used as the guitar. All latches, hinges and original handle are still with it. Even the accessory box is still working! No musty odors or mildew in this case and it fits the guitar great!

The guitar is awesome but used and vintage so its sold as is no returns. However, I have been hand picking my customers guitars for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found them. This incredible guitar will certainly not be an exception!

Thanks for checking our our cool guitars.
