Perfected over decades, the Tele is built strong to last long. It's got a hefty alder body in Telecaster shape, with a cutaway for easy fret access. The neck is a modern "C" shape cut from maple for great feel and tone, while the fretboard showcases 22 jumbo frets and dot inlays. The American Performer Telecaster has a 25.5" scale length and 9.5" fingerboard radius. Playing on this beauty is effortless and enjoyable.

Fun Tele Features
Telecasters have always been unique in their appointments. The headstock of the American Performer Telecaster is a slim, uniquely Telecaster design and boasts Fender ClassicGear tuners. The body has two control knobs covered in chrome, with a chrome base, seated next to the recognizable black capped selector switch. Perhaps most interesting about the Tele is the bridge. The look of this Telecaster may be familiar, but what's under the hood is some special stuff from Fender. The American Performer Series features the newly minted Fender Yosemite single-coil pickups. There's an Alnico 4 bridge pickup and an Alnico 5 neck pickup. Encompassing rich tone and sweet clarity, the two Yosemites and a three-way selector switch will help you find your ideal sound. It's also got volume and tone controls, the latter with a Greasebucket tone circuit so you can contour your highs without adding bass. Overall, this guitar sounds sweet.
