Early 1950s Harmony Roy Smeck Soprano Ukulele This version preceded the more commonly seen Harmony Roy Smeck Ukeuleles with the plastic fingerboards.
Solid Mahogany -- crack free. The neck has been reset and the frets have been leveled. It came to me without tuners. The tuners on now are from a slightly later '50s Roy Smeck. They work well. The tuner holes on these are tiny and installing new tuners would have involved boring them out which I was loath to do.
This is all good to go for another 60 or so years. Set up with Martin Fluorocarbons. Very sweet with a nice chop.
