Olympic White AVRI '62 Jazzmaster. This is a really nice sounding Jazzmaster. I believe this to be a 2002 model. I am the second owner. I purchased it in 2007. It and the original brown Tolex case are in very good condition.
The finish has mellowed into a nice light banana pudding color. The attached photos were taken outdoors on a sunny day and appear whiter. The bridge cover, vibrato arm, and allen wrenches are included. There have been several mods made to it and there are several dings which I will describe to the best of my ability. Please refer to the photos.

MODS:
The original pickups have been replaced with Curtis Novak JM 90's.
They are essentially P 90's made to fit in a Jazzmaster. It retains the Jazzmaster sound with a bit more mids and bark when needed.

A Whizzo Buzzstop has been installed. It improves sustain. It does not prohibit use of the vibrato. I like it and what it does, but to many members of the Cult of the Offsets, it is heretical. If wanted, it is easily removed in seconds by anyone who is certified to operate a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

The neck is a MusiKraft replacement. This is a Chunky C neck , slab rosewood on maple, with a thickness of .900 at the nut to .990 at the heel. If you like thick necks this one fits the bill. It is very stable and less prone to changes in humidity than thinner necks. It is also a bit wider than the original at 1 11/16". The fret wire is Vintage 2230. Plenty of life left in them. The radius is 7.25". An aftermarket headstock decal has been applied.

DINGS:
There are several finish cracks at the heel and one around the lower left corner of the neck plate. There is a hairline finish crack on the cut away at the neck pocket. They have been there since I purchased it. I believe they are from someone cranking down on the neck screws a bit too much. They seem to be stable and other than their appearance, benign.

There is a pretty good chip in the finish on the rear of the upper bout. It is through the finish to the wood.

There is another chip in the lower bout on the edge of the forearm cut.

I have taken close-up photos of these character building imperfections to illustrate them as clearly as possible. Again, please refer to these photos.

WTF?:
There is a spray painted picture of a man's head on the lower right hand corner of the top of the case. I was told by the original owner that this image is a likeness of Principle Blackman, a character from the television show "Strangers with Candy". I guess he was a fan. I think it looks like Vladimir Lenin. I'm not a fan of either men, but it's there and I managed to ignore it for 12 years.

CODA:
This is a nice guitar. I don't play it much as I have become more of Gibson guy. I also no longer play out and just don't need as many guitars. I have never gigged it and it has been kept mostly cased, in my smoke free home. I will miss it.
