So, if he's putting his name on a guitar, you know it's got the goods. The EJ Strat was based on his beloved original '57. The pickups were wired to EJ's specs by the Custom Shop and they are every tone chaser's dream. The bridge measures 6.95k, the middle is 6.26k, and the neck is 5.95k. As you go across the 5 way you'll find even output tone from pickup to pickup- very nicely balanced. The tone controls are wired to the bridge and neck pickups, opening up a whole new avenue of control. You'll find all of your favorite Strat tones in here- from vintage bridge spank to modern overdrives and sustains. The look is fantastic- single ply guard with parhment covers and knobs.
