The BSR EQ-3000 is a 10-band Stereo Equalizer and Spectrum Analyzer. It provides up to +/- 15 dB boost/cut. The analyzer has a range switch to provide either a 20 or 30 dB range.
The EQ-3000 also functions as a dubbing switch to allow recording either way between 2 “tape recorders” or other stereo record/playback devices. It is designed to connect to a home stereo's tape in/out and provide access to 2 recorders instead of just 1.
In addition to the EQ sliders. front panel controls include:
Meter switch to monitor L, L+R, or R channels
Meter range switch (20 dB or 30 dB)
Meter sensitivity control
EQ in/out switch
Hold button to freeze the display
L and R attenuators to control playback volume
Dubbing switch (1>2, Source, 2>1)
Monitor switch (1, Source, 2)
Pink Noise switch (I do not have the calibrated microphone)
Subsonic filter (-18 dB below 15 Hz to eliminate turntable rumble)
Line/Mic switch (in line position analyzer measurements are made from the line outputs)
The rear panel has RCA jacks for left and right inputs and outputs for 2 record/playback devices and for connection to a monitor system.
