Here we have an American made vintage solid state Marlboro Sound Works GA2 amp. While nothing fancy, this makes a great low-wattage living room/small combo amp, particularly for jazz players and guitarists looking for a clean, direct sound.
The amp originally came with a stock Marlboro 8" speaker, which we changed out for an 8 ohm Celestion Custom Design 12" -- hugely improving its sound. With 3 instrument inputs, and a single tone adjustment knob, this amp is about as bare-bones as it gets. It could use a cleaning (there's some scratchiness when adjusting the tone setting), but otherwise the amp is fully functional.
