Avatar G212 Vintage in excellent condition. There are a few scuffs, but nothing you can see unless you look very closely. It's a great cab, extremely well built and great looking. If an open back cab is what you are looking for, this is it. I've been around amps and cabs for over 30 years, and believe me, I wouldn't have had this thing if it was not a dang good cab. I just bought a new head/cab rig so I don't need this one anymore.



It's loaded with some pretty much MINT condition UK made Celestion G12M-65 Creambacks.



I was going to take these out and put them in my new cab, but my new amp seems to like the more modern sounding Mesa C90s that are in the new one.

My personal take on this cab/speakers is this: It's huge-sounding. A lot of people put Creambacks (and their little brother the Greenbacks) in closed-back 4X12s and 2X12s. I myself have had a 2X12 closed back Orange cab with a closed back and 2 Greenbacks in it. I have to say, putting them in an open back adds some dimension and depth to it. As expected, there is less thump to the low end, but to me, it's a more resonant low end. Celestion is not messing around when they say these sound like higher-rated Greenbacks. They are very vintage and "woody" sounding, and to me they have a bit more definition than Greenbacks, while still very warm speakers.
