Here is an opportunity to get a great Brazilian acoustic guitar for a great price. I am on the fence about letting this go, but it rarely gets played, so I think the time has come to part with it and let someone else enjoy it. This is a rare 1997 Taylor 710-BCE in very good condition. Only 85 of this model was produced, according to Taylor. It originally had the factory-installed Fishman Natural 1 under-saddle pickup, but I have now upgraded it to a K&K Pure Mini, which is great because of the amazing performance as well as the fact you no longer have any hassle with swapping out the battery. And unlike most of the 710-BCEs that were produced, this one did NOT have the barn-door style pickup, which means there is no big cut-out in the wood.
I would rate it as an 7.5/10 in terms of cosmetic condition. Beautiful tone. The only blemishes I can see are 3 small dings on the top soundboard, and a scratch on the front of the headstock. And of course, the usual swirling on the pickguard. I've attempted to show them in the pics.
Includes Taylor deluxe hardshell case which is in excellent condition.
The specs are as follows: - Dreadnought body (cutaway) - Englemann Spruce top - Brazilian Rosewood back and sides - K&K Pure Mini - 1 11/16" nut width - 2 3/16" string spacing at saddle
