Fender Jazz Bass 1994 Black "Squier Series" 8.9 lbs. HSC

This is a Black Label 1994 Fender MIM Jazz Bass "Squier Series".  You can do your research on the attributes of the Squier Series basses.  The quality on these was unusually high. They originally came with a one ply pickguard that covered the area normally covered by the chrome plate.  I replaced the pickguard with an American Standard Tortoise, added the chrome plate, replaced the pots and jacks with full size and proper CTS with an orange drop cap, added pearl block decals which are removable. They are very convincing even up close.  I did not replace the pickups because they sound too good. Excellent unplugged body resonance. Neck is straight and the truss rod works fine. There is minimal fret wear. The Licensed Shaller tuners are very high quality with no play or wiggle whatsoever. This is a solid professional instrument well balanced and ready to gig steady.  Keep your custom shop at home and play this one at the shows. Fender hard shell case included, not in perfect shape but fully functional.
