This is a Reverend Bayonet, customized and modified by Reverend founder, Joe Naylor.  It is in mint condition, exactly as it was when I received it from Joe.  It comes with its OHSC and case candy.  It is a very cool, one-of-a-kind, guitar.  And, it sounds great with the Railhammer pickups!

This guitar is the very last original style, tremolo equipped Bayonet made (and the last orange Bayonet made), as it has been discontinued and replaced by the current flame maple/bound body version.  Railhammer Tel 90 bridge and neck pickups are featured.  The dense ebony fretboard, resonant korina body and these pickups yield a unique tone that combines single-coil clarity with beef.  It sounds similar to a 25.5" scale with heavy strings, but it's an easy playing 24.75" scale with 10's.  Perfect for surf, retro-rock, punk or any player looking for twang with balls.  A great looking, sounding, playing and historically interesting one-off guitar with a ton of attitude.

This guitar was designed by Reverend Guitars (located in Michigan), crafted in Korea, and customized/modified by Joe Naylor.

The following was provided to me from Joe Naylor regarding the iron cross on the guitar:  "The cross on this guitar is the cross pattée which goes back to medieval times.  Commonly called the iron cross today, it's been assimilated into American pop culture, first by surfers in the 60's and then by hot rodders, bikers, skateboarders, bands, etc.  It's also currently used in the emblems of fraternities, sports teams, manufacturers, firefighters, Knights of Columbus, Knights Templar, as well as the American and British military.  IMO, context is everything, and in this case it's clearly a pop culture symbol, much like the West Coast Choppers logo or the James Hetfield signature guitar which features a similar cross on it's front."
