LOOK OUT: This Harmonic Percolator clone is going to ruin (or make) your day! This limited run is selling out, so get IT NOW! Why spend over $500 for a vintage one if you can find? Or over $325 for the reissue? These have hand etched boards, and casing and sound Obscene!
Need a Foxx or Univox old school gurgley Cramps fuzz tone FOR ONLY $150 NEW!? This kills most else we've heard! and guess what - These are designed, etched assembled and handmade by local builder Alex DeMaria.
(SCROLL BELOW FOR A DEMO) This pedal was designed and built using premium components by Pentatonic's Alex DeMaria. Based on one of Steve Albini's favorite vintage dirt boxes (InterFax HP-1,) this 2-knob pedal is all you need to go from 60s FUZZ to Shellac-grit to Ty Segall spit-fuzz tones.
This thing practically writes riffs itself. It is not too noisy all-around BUT it can scream while still maintaining a certain beefiness. It has a very Fly/Mosquito-esk buzzy fuzz tone but deep and Bawlsy. Almost similar to a Bit Fuzz, but with way more definition, clarity and touch-sensitivity. The subharmonics are not too extreme, or ringy like an Octavia --- instead they juuuust right. We have demoed this thing next to Z. Vex, Devi Ever, etc. and it truly is a standout two-knob beast that won't bow to the competition!
