Summary
Body: Mahogany
Neck: Mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Two New York humbuckers with three-way pickup selector switch, and independent volume and tone controls. Tremolo bar is missing.
Cosmetic Condition: Some dense checking on the body and the headstock. The neck has some dings and finish war on the back from play. Metal hardware is fairly tarnished. There's some finish wear on the top and the sides as well as a few cracks on the pickguard and some dings on the headstock. This Firebird is still looking good after all these years and has plenty of life left in it.
Playability: Strings are at a medium-low height, play gorgeously, and ring out clearly at all frets.
Modifications: Previous owner refretted it and removed the binding, then sanded neck flush with fretboard. Nut width is now 1 10/16". Finish touch up along the neck/fretboard seam from binding removal.
Weight: 8lbs 5oz
Case: Original hardhell with a replaced handle
