Gibson USA Custom Shop Q 3000 Superstrat-Kahler 1985-Black-P-90 Pickups w/ Original Hardshell Case

Gibson Custom Shop USA Q series electric guitar, black with black hardware from the mid 1980's.

These were Gibson's answer at the time to the popular Kramer Guitars, with the pointy headstocks of electric guitars common to the hair metal era of the 80's but with a classy vintage Gibson twist. These were a Gibson Custom shop offering with only a few hundred made total; but this one came factory with THREE P-90 Pickups; only 100 or less were made in this iteration. 

• Features the Kahler Flyer locking tremolo unit as a Gibson CS factory install., this was a Gibson CS factory install.
•  Unique coil split/boost option with 3 mini toggle switches.
• 22 frets in great condition with some very slight wear 96% life left, and a straight set neck with no bowing or warp to it.  
• Ebony Fretboard
• Factory Grover Tuners w/ "Gibson Custom Shop" logo on back of headstock
• This guitar has been around for some 30+ years and this shows, with some significant signs of wear as a players axe with many scuffs and scrapes all over the guitar. There is some finish cracking/crazing to the clear coat over the paint in some areas and this is pictured, but this is cosmetic only and does not affect how this vintage Gibson CS guitar plays or sounds, or functions. 100% original.
