UPDATED LISTING:
This is a one-of-a-kind Bob Venn Custom 5 String Electric Mandolin, built in the mid-70s for his friend Tiny Moore of Bob Wills Texas Playboys.
The Venn Customs “Tiny Moore” 5 String electric mandolin has a solid body with a walnut body and birdseye maple top, the neck is laminated birdseye maple, the fingerboard is ebony with abalone and mother of pearl inlay.  Tuners are early Schallers “Made in W. Germany”. The pickups were wound by Bob Venn with his handmade maple covers. Electronics are all working and in excellent condition.
Bob Venn was the co-founder of Roberto-Venn School of Lutherie. The instrument was sent back to Roberto Venn in 2020 and worked on by Joe Valee- who straightened the neck and provided a certificate of authenticity describing the mandolin and its provinance.
It was built as a custom instrument, not a prototype or instrument intended to be a Tiny Moore Bigsby-style as Tiny often played and sold for Jay Roberts from his store in Sacramento.
On the headstock, the “Tiny Moore” decal has worn on the last bit but can still be seen clearly.
This instrument was built for Tiny Moore in the late 70s and is in 100% playable condition with certificate of authenticity from Roberto-Venn.
This is a one of a kind piece!
