With its meticulously crafted laminated maple body, solid centre-sustain-block, and hard-maple set neck, it churns out sounds as diverse as they come. Hagstrom’s prominent, yet not-too-hot HJ50 humbucking pickups deliver a broad sonic palette ranging from Blues to Rock to Jazz-Fusion to 60’s Beat and beyond. You can even take it on a shred spin.

The Hagstrom Viking Wild Cherry Transparent electric guitar is part of the Vintage Series of guitars. Vikings took no prisoners and neither will this versatile and elegant guitar. The Hagstrom Viking is the great all-rounder. It covers all genres, from blues to rock/fusion, jazz - and back. The Hagstrom Viking electric guitar features a contoured Ply Maple top. The guitar's set neck is topped with a resonator wood fingerboard. The neck also features Hagstrom's patented H-Expander truss rod. This provides tension at either end and runs the entire length of the neck. It allows for a very low action and a thin neck, two of the factors that gain Hagstrom it's reputation for the world's fastest playing guitars!
