For sale is this hard to find Guild F46 made in 1986. This is a George Gruhn design, and a top of the line model made from 1984-86, with a total of 121 produced.
This guitar is heavily weather checked but otherwise in good player condition. The guitar plays great with nice low string action. There is also lots of saddle left to work with, and the truss rod works perfectly if you prefer to change the action to your liking. This guitar has lots of Mojo and has been gigged for many years by the previous owner.
There are a few issues to be aware of here, but the good news is that the next owner does not need to spend any immediate money to be able to play and enjoy this guitar. A fishman pickup was installed that works properly with a built in tuner. However, the wood around the pick up was damaged during installation. Also, there is some fret ware in the first 3 frets and some of the metal frets have string ware on them. There is no string buzz when playing in any position. Please see all photos.
I have only seen two of these for sale over the past 5 years and they both sold for over 2,000. Please message me with any and all questions and offers.
***Please use headphones for the youtube sound clip and crank the volume pretty high to get a sample of the sound. It's poor video quality, but several people have asked about the sound and play ability of the guitar. Thanks***
