**Cabreuva (Myroxylon peruiferum) also called Quina-Quina, Balsamo, Santos Mahogany- all these names are used for the tree growing in the northern parts of South America as Bolivia, Columbia, Peru and Argentina Sandalwood. The name Argentine Sandalwood refers to this aromatic odor, but all of these names are misleading- the wood belongs to the Fabaceae family and has an intense red-brown deep colored heartwood wood with very fine and narrow grain structure, often mottled and very attractive. The wood is very hard and dense, extremely durable and is excellent for use in guitars for back and sides.

Guitar Setup & Shipping Notes
Photos- All photos are of the actual guitar. We take detailed photos of all of our products. (The first picture is usually a stock photo from the manufacturer)
Setup- We check all new instruments to ensure factory setup, but set up to your liking is the responsibility of the buyer. In the case of refurbished instruments, these are set up/adjusted during the refurbishing process and are always perfectly set up to factory specs or better. We cannot guarantee that set up will be what the buyer "likes", although we've never had a complaint.
Shipping Notes- Outside the US, please message us and include a full address for a shipping estimate. We ship item same day and no later than 24 hours (business). If you would like to guarantee FedEx or UPS ground, please contact us. We double box all of our guitar packages accept broken/for parts guitars and guitars in a hardshell case. Both are well packaged but don't require as much packaging. Your guitar will be packed in many layers of bubble wrap, cardboard, paper, etc.. We use 3-4 layers of cardboard between your guitar and the outside world to protect against shipping damage. UPS, FedEx, and USPS require adequate packaging, which is noted as 2” of padding all the way around and double boxing for fragile items. We prefer USPS shipping, sometimes it's a little slower, but USPS also has never damaged or lost any of the hundreds of guitars we have shipped. (FedEx-faster) Feel free to mail us with any questions about shipping. Do not throw away packaging until you are sure you are keeping the guitar and it is not damaged. Shipping is non-refundable (unless damaged during shipping), it's how we keep our prices as low as possible. Actual shipping charges will be deducted if returned.
