Ovation 1778TX Elite T Series Mid-Depth Bowl Acoustic-Electric Guitar

This is a guitar in a non Ovation case. The case was slightly dented, see last picture. This is a Chromacast case and is good for everyday use, light travel (probably not for heavy travel).

Not sure what it is about this guitar, but it sounds better than any other elite that has come through here. Acoustic and electric this thing sounds great. I'm beginning to think it's the finish, it's the only difference.

Designed as an alternative to the traditional Ovation Elite series, the Ovation 1778TX Elite T cutaway acoustic electric guitar is lightweight, resilient, and offers maximum performance potential and unique styling.

The scalloped X bracing and AA grade solid spruce top on the 1778TX lends tremendous power to the soundboard, and the rock maple neck profile has been slimmed down to give it a look and feel more appealing to electric players.

Shedding the classic multi-piece hardwood epaulet sound hold decorations, the 1778TX incorporates a simpler, untrimmed, 11-hole pattern that enhances the low and mid range punch. Other noteworthy features include Ovation's signature multi-sound-holes (bass side only), rosewood fretboard with black stain bridge and the OP Pro preamp.

Plus, an extremely light, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel finish is wrapped around the entire back and top to put the finishing touch on this amazing guitar.

We ship all items same day, and no later than 24 hours (business). Free shipping may be any carrier we will choose based on cost. If you would like guarantee FedEx ground, please email us, we charge a flat $15 (excludes AK & HI).

How We Package

We double box all of our guitars and use 3-4 layers cardboard between your guitar and the outside world if not in a case. Each guitar is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. We also use heavy packing paper in the inner box around the guitar AND more packaging in the outer box, bubble and/or packaging paper. (Always ask your seller how they pack and if they insure. some actually ship in a single flimsy box) . UPS, FedEx and USPS require adequate packaging, which is noted as 2” of padding all the way around and double boxing for fragile items.

Do not throw away packaging until you are sure you are keeping the guitar and it is not damaged.
