Vintage! Made in Japan. Not certain what the exact model is or what year it was made but had to be late 50’s or early 60’s. Comes with original case (kind of like a combination of fake leather and cardboard). It’s not the best but it’s better than nothing.
I put on new strings and replaced the nut and saddle because of some buzzing and dead fret issues. It’s playable (I’ve used it on a few recordings) but it is more of a relic or collectible than a player.
This piece of shit is awesome. Has inspired some really cool riffs. Don’t really want to sell it but I just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."
