This is an excellent choice for the beginning and intermediate student of classical guitar, as well as for an amateur player. It is a wonderful instrument in superb condition.
I am the guitar's original owner, and have lovingly played and cared for it since 1981.
In 2008 I had the tuners, saddle, and nut upgraded — to gold-plated and bone, respectively. The action was also adjusted. The work was performed by a professional luthier, and these modifications resulted in an even better instrument in terms of action and playability, as well as sound quality and projection.
This 1978 classical guitar is roughly comparable to today’s Yamaha GC12S.
