The DMB Lunar Echo is a true analog, bucket brigade delay pedal that takes an extra step or two beyond the convention of analog delays. Not only does the DMB Lunar Echo provide vintage analog delay but a modulation section was added for chorus-y, wobbly repeats that further enhance the sound of the pedal. The 3-way toggle switch for Normal/Tape/Wrecked is truly the foundation of the DMB Lunar Echo. In Normal mode, the repeats are all analog goodness with no modulation. Tape mode adds in the internal modulation for controllable chorusing vibrato on the repeats. Wrecked mode unleashes the full potential of the modulation section with wacky warbles and helicopter blade effects that will inspire new and fresh licks daily. Sound fun? We 're just getting started. The DMB Lunar Echo also has a momentary footswitch labeled Take Off. This switch truly awakens the pedal and engages self-oscillation mode. Not only is it usable, but when put into oscillation and held, the oscillations will dampen when played over and when the Take Off switch is release both will fade out with easy grace. This makes oscillations more usable than ever and all without having to bend over and reach down to tweak the pedal. The Lunar Echo has an expression pedal jack that will let you have control over the delay time via "sweep tempo." The Lunar Echo also has an external effects loop that allows you to add your own modulation to the repeats. The Hi-Fi/Lo-Fi switch allows dialing in of the presence of the repeats and overall tone.
