Fender Squier Stratocaster 2000 Special Edition Guitar (CAE serial number) Black

In great condition with a few dings here and there, but nothing too noticeable. CAE serial numbered Squiers are the number one cheap modding platforms to make a Strat partscaster-- and they're getting harder and harder to find. The body and cavities are full-size, so upgraded pickups and pots drop right in. The guitar sounds really good as it is, though-- and the neck is superb in look and feel. A good beginners guitar because you can upgrade the components as your skill level increases and come out at half to a third the price of a Made-in-Mexico Strat of the same component quality. The tuners work well-- and actually hold a tune. The pickups sound great too. The neck is straight with just a touch of relief added, the action is low and the truss rod is working. The frets are in great condition with a few very faint scratches on the 20th and 21st frets, but nothing directly underneath a string. This guitar loves an OCD-type overdrive pedal.
