At the heart of this great little amp is the familiar '68 Blackface Princeton circuit.
It comes with a complete FluxTone Speaker system, this one has a FluxTone Model 1 Your choice of another FluxTone speaker, see our site.
The FluxTone system allows a 25 dB range of volume control, after all the amps control settings, by varying the electro-magnet strength on the speaker.
Also there is a "External Amp" input jack on the back panel that allows you to play another amp through the FluxTone system. When another amp is introduced this way...the Princeton amplifier is placed in stand-by mode.
There is also a switch to select predominantly 2nd harmonics (Stock Princeton), or predominantly 3rd harmonics (DeLuxe style response)
Hand wired, multi colored conductors. High quality components, Yellow Zinc plating on a custom steel chassis. You can choose what rectifier 5U4, or 5AR4.
This amp chassis is a duplicate of the amplifier that we use in our Solid RoseWood cabinets. It has the same custom transformers, and this cabinet is made by JD Newell. The cabinet size was built to hold a Vibro-King chassis...that is why there are spacers beside the Princeton chassis. This gives the overall tone a little more bottom end, without adding much weight.
And finally the Negative feedback can be eliminated via a switch.
