Tokai Guitars is a Japanese guitar company founded in 1947. Their instruments have been used by guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Walsh, Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Dean Wareham from Luna or Robert Fripp from King Crimson. Tokai has earned a reputation for making replicas of high quality instruments at a lower price and this guitar is no exception.

Although they started making musical instruments in 1947, his career in guitar construction began in the 60s. Their Fender and Gibson replicas with high quality features soon gave him great popularity.
