For Sale is a refurbished PRISTINE Fender System One Bridge with original Chrome Bar and collar Wrench.  All the rollers are in excellent shape and roll perfectly.  The intonation Fine Tuner adjustment string never bent or have to be repaired.  This bridge is in barely used  Condition and came off a barely used Fender Contemporary Stratocaster.  There are no bridges that even come close to this bridge or did any ever last as long as these bridges.  My name is papatom of  and there are some things I would like to share with you today.  Many people who own and love these Contemporary Strats and Telecasters from the mid 80's that have the Fender System One floarbridges feel my prices for parts are high.  They thing that because something comes from Japan it is sub standard yet they will buy their Toyota's shoot there Nikon cameras and buy their Seiko watches. The Japanese are an honorable people that work hard at their Crafts in everything they do.. It is ashame to them and to their family to fail in making anything less then top quality.  Working with one of the Greater companies for hardware and parts, Schaller in Germany, designed The Fender Systems bridges..These bridges are made of solid, not plated like most of the other brands, even Leo Fender 6 saddle and screw bridge is plated unless you buy the soft nickel saddles, still the rest of the bridge is plated.  The Fender System One bridge is made of solid Chrome top plate, saddles and use a Zinc alloy block for electric magnetic induction. So interference is at a low along with electrolysis which acts like a zinc tap on an out board motor.  These bridges standed the test of time, coming on 30 years and still just need mostly parts that are lost not broken.. Like the plates in the locking nut, or the Nylon ferrule that grabs the solid Chrome bar under the chrome plated BRASS collar.  Or the Solid Chrome Bar it's self.. that one is amazing.  I have spent thousands buying bridges and guitars to refurbish and have parts for collectors.  Because these parts are very rare and hard to come by I have to charge enough money to keep my stock up and pay over head as well as everyone else.  For this I am ridiculed.  The economy is bad not only for them but for me as well and I believe I am providing a great surfice to those who love these guitars and bridges.  If you can't afford the parts or bridges there are always alternatives.  I only carry the System One Bridge and parts although I ran into a locking nut for the Sys 3 and bars that I will be putting up.. For those who didn 't have money I found a person who would be able to find a machinist out in PA. I gave him the specs but he made the bars out of cheap cold roll steel that rusts and the bars are not the Schaller size which can and will ruin your bar socket.. another very important part in the Sys One Trem chain.  Now as well There are some who are making Stainless steel bars and polishing them and I feel they are better by far if the size's are right.  However think of this.  If Stainless was the way to go Schaller would have used it being far cheaper then Chrome.  I always buy original for my guitars, whether the price is high or not.. I save until I have the money.  One day like the Silvertone by sears, these Fender Japanese guitars are going to be worth allot of money.. And those collectors of these parts buy from papatom at stratconnection.com because they know it.  And those who buy the cheaper parts that won't last especially cold roll steel bars that rust before you get them.  And rust is like cancer eating away your bar socket.  The collectors will be paid top dollar for they're vintage Contemporary guitars with all original parts.  In the pictures other then the bridge you will see bars I have took in on trade in's .. some of the bars have been painted to cover the rust.  All bent different sizes.. And even the Stainless don't hold a candle next to the original Chrome bar.  I put them in a pile.. Can you pick out the original Schaller German made solid Chrome bar.  Some of the other parts you see are the Fine tuners.. There are two piles.. One pile is original Fender Sys One Schaller made the other is a Aluminum alloy.  You can see the metal alloys.  If you picked the pile with the large Chamfer that's the angle around the top, you picked the copy cat fine tuner.  I get more of these broken in the bridge top plate then anything.  Bend easy and won't last until the guitar is worth anything.  And by that time to find original parts is going to be impossible unless you spend a thousand dollars for a fine tuner.  Don't roll your eyes I've seen it in other vintage parts on guitars like a mid 30's Epiphone of 40's Gibson or 50's Fender.  Parts for highly collectable guitars are very high.  The other parts you see like the O Rings someone actually went to the hard where store and bought a box of 10 of these that cost him 2.37 cents and charges 5 dollars for two and calls them replacement clutches.  There are no clutches on a Fender Sys one bar socket.  A clutch is a device that releases a moving part to disengage.  Like the one you use in an automatic transmission of an automobile.  I had to laugh at this one I did a work shoppe on this as well.  The other thing I love is drilling out the top of a FS! bar socket hole so a Kalher Arm can be installed instead of buying a replacement original bar.  I have them here on reverb.com.  Yeah expensive but you only have to buy one.  They don't bend or rust or break and are the right size and weight the Schaller Company designed them to be to operate the the FS1 bridge correctly. I have 10 in stock for sale. After that who knows.  Eventually with all the collectors coming out of the wood work even papatom will be out of the Fender sys one business.  But I couldn't stand by 8 years ago and watch people trading them and parting these once in a life time Leo Fender made plugs sent to Japan for assembly and becoming almost extinct to beer drinking garage playing Hendrix wanna be's.  Not when the Founder of one of the greatest instruments, Leo Clarence Fender, has aloud me to have the greatest youth and adolesence during a time of times and day of Renaissance and the greatest time of self expression through music and R&B.  It was the time of a life time.  And the Fender Guitar along with other major brands Held high by the best and created a musical Hall of Fame that will live on in History.  And among them in that History will be the day Leo Fender's Legacy almost died by the hand of the CBS Fender Musical Company, if not for Fender Japan and the Schaller company in Germany.  Owning a refurbished with all authentic original parts is not only owning a guitar bridge that is one of the best.. But is owning a piece of History..  rock on... shipping USPS Priority Med.
