Most people that will look at this guitar are doing so because they are avid Star Wars fans and rightfully so, it is a very collectible piece of art.

BUT! Keep in mind -

This Fernandes Limited Edition Darth Vader Guitar is also a high quality instrument with superb neck and fret work not just some generic shaped wood and wire item with a “cool” paint job!

It is a REAL guitar and actually quite “vintage” sounding!

This guitar was part of a very limited edition run of the Original Star Wars Fernandes guitars commissioned by George Lucas himself.

This Original Series of Star Wars guitar are becoming more and more scarce as they make their way to the serious Star Wars memorabilia collectors.

It is an awesome collectors investment piece that will continue to escalate in price.

Fernandes is best known for recreating the tone and feel of vintage

Fender instruments and this guitar is no exception: It sounds great and

the neck and fret work are very very good, a very “vintage” sounding strat with exceptional playability!

The Star Wars Fernandes “Darth Vader” #80 is a quality instrument

and not like the Star Wars “toy” guitars currently being sold.

Most likely this guitar will never be played BUT the tonal quality and exceptional playability is there should you ever want to use it as a serious instrument and not a collectible novelty.

This guitar has been out of its case very few times and is New Old Stock (NOS) When I received the original Fernandes shipment at my guitar store (Fernandes Dealer) I checked the guitar in and again checked the guitar when I took the pictures for this Reverb ad, along the way I let a few customers see it – but not play it!

It has been stored in its original case wrapped inside of a heavy duty plastic bag inside of a box in a smoke free, pet free, humidity and temperature controlled environment.

It is in like new and un-played condition.

I have read that the Fernandes Guitar Company had but a 3 year contract with George Lucas and Lucas Films and after the three year agreement ended they were required by this agreement to destroy all remaining stock of these guitars and their associated accessories!

AddictedToToneInc does not accept returns.

I only use sturdy shipping boxes to prevent damage to the item you have purchased.

As a consumer I understand the desire to save a couple dollars whenever possible, please understand that I have tried alternative “cheaper” shipping methods and was not pleased with the result – to much damage!

I do not make any “extra” money on shipping.

The shipping price is calculated to include the carrier delivery fees to your specific location and fees imposed on the item by Reverb and PayPal.

 I package items VERY well and ship very promptly!

If you are having your item delivered to a temporary living address: Hotel, Motel, Day Suite etc. remember to notify the front desk receiving personnel of the expected delivery.
