If the February 2013 issue of Vintage Guitar had your tighty-whities in a bunch with all of Larry Collins' custom-made Mosrites, or if you've been coveting one of Terry McArthur's glorious Joe Maphis style TNM Customs, then this may just be your lucky day.

Dating to the tail end of the "New Mosrite" era and what could more accurately be described as the "Before Fire" days, this truly special instrument appears to be the sister guitar to Brian Lonbeck's long lost custom. One-piece hand-carved figured maple top, hogged-out (hollow) figured walnut back, figured maple 6 and octave 6-string necks, walnut pickguard rim, Moseley trem and handwound humbuckers - this beast is a tonemonster of '70s style Joe Maphis proportions. Whether you're a fan of Joe Maphis, Merle Travis, Larry Collins, Brian Lonbeck, Deke Dickerson or Buddy Dughi, country or rockabilly, you're in good company. (Flying fingers not included.)

Excellent condition. Light weatherchecking, some oxidation of metal parts, electronics could use cleaning.

I have done my best to supply numerous photographs of this instrument in natural light from all possible angles. Please examine the pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding.
