* I took this guitar in on a trade, it's in All Around Great shape, as your luck would have it I bought a guitar that I didn't see coming so I'm Motivated to sell this baby...talk to me, I might say Yes
Feel Free to ask Me any Questions, I'll be happy to get on the phone with you.
** Check this my D12-35 is the lowest priced at 1695.00 in Good Condition. Prices go all the way up to 9,425.00 for a new 50th Anniversary Re Issue of the Same Model...Ask yourself this, Do you really think there's a 7k price difference in the Look, Sound and Playability to justify the 7k price difference? My guess is, in a Blind Test only a few Martin Purists might hear some of the differences in the sound and fewer still in the way the guitar plays... I've never seen any other guitar with this kind of Low to High Price Range
If you're in the market for a Martin D12-35 buying this guitar for 1695. should be a No Brainer or at the very least doing some serious investigating...My D12-35 Sounds and Plays Great
Why spend 1000's more than you have to? The exception would the Brazilian Rose Wood backs...that I kind of understand.
1973 C.F. Martin D12-35 Guitar
The guitar is in great shape for it's 43 years of age, it doesn't need a Neck Reset as many Vintage Martins do! It has a small chip by the nut on the headstock (see Pic) it looks worse than it is. It's structurally sound, there's no need to repair it
According too it's 2nd owner It hasn't seen much playing time at all. The top, sides and back are Clean Clean Clean, NO CRACKS Anywhere.
It Plays Great, has Smooth Action Up and Down the Neck,. It Stays in tune and has a Clear Sound with a Wonderful Low End.
If you know your Vintage Martins and looking for a deal, based on the prices I see here on Reverb and the guitars that have sold on Ebay...this could be the guitar you're looking for. I've played it enough to know that this Martin is As Good as Any Martin D12-35 You'll See Here, There and Anywhere...
***I posted a youtube video of a 1970 D12-35...IT'S NOT THE GUITAR FOR SALE, I just wanted to give you an idea of what it sounds like.
